Welded steel pipe, or we can call it welded steel tube.Though curling and welding, the plate or strip finally become steel pipe.
Welded steel pipe manufacturing process is simple Plug Valve, the efficiency is high, specifications is variety and equipment capital is small seamless stainless steel pipe.But it's not as strong as seamless steel tube.Since the 1930s, the welded pipe have been taking place of the seamless stainless steel pipe in much more fileds.
Welded steel pipe can divided into longitudinal and spiral welded pipe according to the form of welding.
Not only longitudinal pipe's production process is simple, the efficiency is high, but it also has a low cost. So it's developing fast these days.The strength of the longitudinal welded pipe is lower than the spiral pipe.
Generally, the pipe with a smaller caliber almost use straight seam welding.Large-diameter steel pipe use spiral welding on the contrary.
