Welded steel pipe is the same as welded stainless steel pipe.The steel pipe is made of plate or strip though curling and welding steel pipe.
Welded steel pipe's not as strong as seamless steel tube, inspite of its imple manufacturing process, high efficiency , variety specifications and less equipment capital.Since the 1930s, specifications of welded pipe have been growing which is taking place of the seamless stainless steel pipe.
Welded steel pipe can divided into longitudinal and spiral welded pipe.
Longitudinal pipe's production process is simple, with its high efficiency and low cost, it has a rapid development recent years.The longitudinal erw steel pipe is not as strong as the spiral one.
So the pipe with a smaller caliber boiler pipe almost use straight seam welding.Large-diameter pipe use spiral welding on the contrary.
